Official Announcement: New Senior Management Team and Board of Directors

Dear Dreamers Walk Canada Community, Members, Volunteers, and Supporters,

​

As President, Founder, and Board Chair of Dreamers Walk Canada Inc., I am proud to announce that, effective October 27, 2026, we are entering an exciting new chapter for our organization.

​

Over the past six years, Dreamers Walk Canada Inc. has continued to grow, build community connections, and work toward a future where people with disabilities and their families have greater opportunities to participate, connect, and thrive.

​

As we look toward 2027 and beyond, we are strengthening our leadership, expanding our operations, and building a new vision for the future. Today, I am pleased to introduce our new Senior Management Team and our Board of Directors, who will help guide our organization into this next chapter.

​

Together, we will continue working toward our mission of promoting disability awareness, accessibility, inclusion, empowerment, and community participation.

1. Introducing the Senior Management Team

Our Senior Management Team will work together to support the organization's day-to-day operations, coordinate our programs and events, strengthen community relationships, and help turn our vision into action.

I look forward to working alongside this team as we prepare for a new year of growth, opportunities, and community engagement.

3. Building Our Team for the Future

As we enter this new chapter, there are still several important leadership positions to be filled.

These roles will be important to our continued growth, helping us increase public awareness, build relationships with community organizations and businesses, and ensure that accessibility remains at the heart of everything we do.

We look forward to welcoming additional individuals who share our passion for inclusion, community participation, and creating opportunities for everyone to dream.

4. Looking Ahead: Our New Vision

As we prepare for 2027, Dreamers Walk Canada Inc. is focused on building a stronger, more connected, and more inclusive organization.

​

Our priorities include:

• Expanding disability awareness and advocacy.

• Strengthening our community programming and support services.

• Developing new fundraising opportunities and community partnerships.

• Growing our events, festivals, and accessible recreational activities.

• Promoting leadership and volunteer opportunities.

• Making accessibility and inclusion central to our planning and decision-making.

Our vision is simple: Everyone deserves the opportunity to dream.

We believe that with the right support, opportunities, and community connections, people with disabilities can pursue their dreams, share their talents, and play an important role in building stronger communities.

5. A Heartfelt Thank You

​

As I close this announcement, I want to take a moment to thank everyone who has been part of Dreamers Walk Canada Inc. over the past six years.

To our former board members, management team members, volunteers, supporters, sponsors, community partners, and everyone who has contributed their time and energy to our organization: thank you.

Every contribution, every conversation, every volunteer hour, and every act of support has helped us reach this point. Our journey has included challenges, learning experiences, changes, and achievements, but our commitment to our mission continues.

​

To those who have served in leadership roles in the past, I want you to know that your contributions have helped shape the organization we are today.

To our new Senior Management Team and Board of Directors, welcome. This is an opportunity for us to build on the work that has already been done, learn from our experiences, and move forward with renewed purpose.
